Who We Are...
The University of Texas-Pan American Phonathon program
reaches out to alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends
to get them involved in the Annual Giving campaign. The
Phonathon is staffed entirely by UTPA students who provide a
firsthand perspective on UTPA and can explain why annual
giving is crucial to UTPA’s excellence. Our mission is to
increase alumni participation and support as well as keep
our alumni and friends connected to the University. Last
year our phonathon resulted in gifts totaling $18,000. Our
goal this year is to raise over $20,000.
When is Phonathon?
Our student callers typically call from February to May and
September to November.
Where is the Phonathon held?
The Phonathon takes place at the Alumni Office on the main
campus.
What Should
I Say When A Student Calls Me?
This is an excellent opportunity to get updates on what is
happening at UTPA while making your annual pledge to support
student scholarships and departmental initiatives within
your college or program. The student callers are ready to
share their stories and information!
Didn’t
Receive A Call This Year?
Please feel free to add your name to the calling list Debby
Grant, Director of Annual Giving, or you can
make your annual gift online.

Sponsors
Many local
businesses have pledged their support to the Phonathon
through incentives which are awarded to callers who go above
and beyond the call of duty. We in the Phonathon would like
to thank them for their support.
For more
information on sponsoring, please
email Debby Grant.
