Mark Lacy serves the University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA) as the Director of Colleges and Athletics for Development in the division of University Advancement. He acts as a liaison between all UTPA College Deans, the Director of Athletics and the development staff by assisting all Academic Colleges and athletic departments to maximize existing development and fundraising efforts together with the External Affairs development staff.

Prior to this role, Mr. Lacy served as Systems Analyst and is responsible for the alumni and donor database management. He joined the staff of the Office of Institutional Advancement, now known as the Division of External Affairs, in January 1994. He came to UTPA with a background in management of non-profit agencies and 25 years in events management.

Mr. Lacy earned two degrees from UTPA: a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in management in 1993 and a Master of Business Administration in 1995. Lacy has over 12 years experience with UTPA's development office.
