Debby Grant
Director of Alumni Relations

Grant serves as Director for Alumni Relations and Annual Giving and is responsible for the annual fund initiatives each year to help increase student scholarships and development. These annual fund initiatives include the direct mail campaign, angel investors program and the phonathon. Grant is also a liaison to the UTPA Alumni Association organized of proud graduates, ex-students and friends who have joined together to provide continued support and service to UT-Pan American. She joined the staff of Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, which is now under the Division of External Affairs, in September of 1993. She came to UTPA from Oxford, Oxford, and Gonzalez Law Firm, where she held the position of business manager. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting in 1999. She officially joined the Development Office staff in March 2001.  In June 2001 she was promoted to her current position of director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. Grant has been with the Division of External Affairs for 12 years with 8 years experience with UTPA’s development office.
