UTPA needs your help! We need to raise our alumni participation rate 1% a year to help UTPA become one of the nations’ best university.

About Fund Initiatives

The annual fund initiatives each year helps to increase student scholarships and development. There are several annual fund initiatives such as the direct mail campaign, angel investors program and the phonathon.  The angel investors program helps university employees to take advantage of salary deductions to help fund scholarships for staff or college specific initiatives.  The direct mail campaign and phonathon provides an opportunity to highlight UTPA news to friends and alumni.  The phonathon allows our students to thank donors for their gifts.

With the growing number of students, UTPA works diligently to bring in additional scholarship support that will help ease UTPA students’ financial burden.  We encourage alumni and friends to give to this very important cause.  There are different ways that you can support your university.  If you would like to donate now, on our secure online donation form, please use this link:
